The Touch LCD Shield gives your OpenMV Cam the ability to display what it sees on-the-go while not connected to your computer. It features a 2.3" 320x240 16-bpp (RGB565) capacitive multi-touch TFT LCD display with a controllable backlight. Your OpenMV Cam's firmware has built-in support for controlling the LCD Shield using the SPI Display Class.
The shield also allows your OpenMV Cam to easily connect to SparkFun's plethora of Qwiic devices. It connects P4 (SCL) and P5 (SDA) on your OpenMV Cam to the dual Qwiic headers onboard, which can be used to daisy-chain your OpenMV Cam into a Qwiic (I2C) bus.
This shield is compatible with all OpenMV Cam models.
The LCD Shield is great for robotic applications where you need to debug your OpenMV Cam in the field - like when debugging a line following robot. For example, you can use the LCD Shield to display the frame buffer after you've thresholded and drawn markups on an image.
