Shipping Speed
We have multiple fulfillment warehouses we are able to fulfill orders from that each offer different shipping rates/speed. We will try to fulfill your order as fast as possible by the next business day. Please note that the shipping speed includes shipping and handling time. However, the shipping speed DOES NOT guarantee delivery within the estimated time frame. External factors that we cannot control may delay shipments for any number of reasons. You are NOT entitled to a refund for an order if it does not arrive on-time. After an order ships it is NOT CANCELABLE for a refund.
However, please do email us if you are concerned your package is delayed and or stuck in customs. We will work to determine what's wrong and remedy it as best as possible.
Note that global disasters can affect shipping times, OpenMV is not responsible for delays caused by such events.
Tracking Number
Once your order ships we will send you an email with a tracking number for the shipping service you choose at checkout. Tracking numbers for our slowest shipping service, DHL eCommerce, take a while to update. Please order using DHL Express or FedEx for faster shipping and accurate tracking. Please note that DHL Express may only update their tracking number information after your package reaches the destination country. In particular, DHL deals with an incredible volume of packages when shipping from Hong Kong and does not provide precise tracking while the package is moving through their Hong Kong system.
Taxes and Duties
OpenMV does not pay for import taxes and duties. You are expected pay for customs clearance on all orders you purchase. Most countries do not impose taxes and duties on orders less than certain monetary thresholds.
Lost Packages
Once a package has been delivered it is your responsibly to pickup your package. OpenMV is not liable for any lost and stolen packages. If your package was sent to your local post-office you are responsible for picking up your package.
EU Shipping
OpenMV will ask for your VAT/EORI or Tax ID when shipping to the EU. This information is required to get past import customs generally. Without it orders shipped via DHL will generally get stuck in customs.
