Last week, we finally had a chance to test WiFi HaLow out in the real world with the N6 using the H.264 encoder onboard, with very promising preliminary results! Here's how the system performed on Ocean Beach in San Francisco, CA, on a random Sunday.

Right off the bat, video transmission with audio at up to 550 meters!

Now, there's a lot still still explore to push performance, like module transmit power, bigger antennas, the PCB design, and on and on. But, it's definately lot more distance that what regular WiFi offers. We'll be exploring futher improvments as we have time and will blog about it here.
